The Southern Portion of the Red Clay Trail begins at the city limits of Fort Gaines and extends south and east to the borders of Clay County. It is about a 90 minute drive to cover this section of the trail but worth it.

The Shiver's Produce Shed at 1300 West Bluffton Road is the first stop on the southern portion of the tour.
